Day10

Soo yeah seems like my body has finally recovered WHOO! So anyways i just chucked my fron handspring tuck and boy was it scary .. But it was fun except landing on my ass..I think ill work on it more now. Anyways i attempted a giant and wow i scared like 5 people haha i let my shoulder collapse thinking i made it around but it didnt so the outcome was something scary ahh what a great day! Anyways ive come to a conclusion that even though i cant be the best i enjoy this sport soooo much! For some odd reasons getting injured doesnt scare me from the sport but the opposite. It makes me want to get up and keep trying .
Wow i love gymnastics!

Oh the mens team is ordering team leos woot! Silver black grey white is the color i think looks pretty pimpin. I need to get bigger though to look better in it though so time to lift weights again!

Day9

Well today was a great day for me although my shoulder isnt completely healed i feel like it was just a good day. But the day before it was just miserable.. I just couldnt get the hang of anything and pain in my shoulder wasnt much help. But that was yesterday so whatever. Today i tried on grips for High Bar and to my surprise i loved it! Even though its not broken in since my friend hates grips therefore never uses them it felt awesome. Did some swings and kips and worked out nicely. Come to think of it nothing much happened today but it was just a overall great day :]

Im thinking of putting up some pics/vids of my team and i practicing just for memories soon ^^ and also to see visual progress.

Day8

Well seeing how i forgot my password for a couple week or maybe a week this really wouldn't be day 8. But my progress has been a on a stalemate due to all my injuries...
First off the pinky toe i hurt previously is actually broken and ive actually jammed my big toe now . Ughh! It doesn't stop there though , i have injured my rotator cuff making me unable to do almost any events. Soo frustrated!! Well i was until i was able to write about. On a lighter note i have begun to realize how relaxing it was to just write it really just calms me and i enjoy it so much! With my favorite music and just writing this makes me feel much happier!

Back onto the little progress i have achieved.
On highbar ive actually came so close to highbar. My swings are awesome if i do say so myself. I feel that with a little spot i can do giants but until my shoulder heals i wont be on it for awhile.
On floor im working front-handspring tucks. Its such an awesome skill now that i think about it! But i was shown up by my coach who had baby 6 months ago ahaha. Shes awesome lol.
Vault i havent been on too much because of my shin splints so not much improvements.
On rings i WAS working on dislocates but thats how injured my shoulder so im done with that too ahhh! But beside the dislocate i was working on press handstands on it (Cant believe how much harder it is on the rings then floor.)
Surprisingly i have been actually touching up on pommel skills. Ran through couple hip circle drills but nothing too great.
Pbars is were i broke my pinky toe :9 But swing into handstand and half turns basically was all i tried on it. Im very limited on Pbars due to the fact we dont have an actual Pbars lol just been practicing on 2 big blocks and mini pbars which you couldn't perform actual skills except holding handstands and what not. Oh yeah totally forgot about tucks on Pbars ^^ lol

Well thats it for now i guess. Im probably not going to be getting any new skills soon until im all better but till then strength and flexibility conditioning is all im probably be going to work on.

Day7

Shoot well didnt get much of a practice today because my ride had to leave early so i just worked out my back and boy i really tired myself out. But soon after i tried to be creative with my protein shake. I guess its not original but i tried to make it myself.
2 packets of oatmeal
1scoop of whey protein
1 spoon of Peanut Butter
Some milk.(Eyed the measurement of what was appropriate.)
A few crushed ices to cool down the oatmeal.
Grand total of 50g of protein. Not bad at all :]

Anyhow im still trying to get my giants. Ughh I dont know why its taking so darn long man i just want it already but my coach is making me just practice other skills for now. But on the good note i know today was a productive day ! Decided to clean my room because of the crummy weather but i had fun doing so. The music i played as cleaning fueled me to clean since it was SOOOOOO good. Jason mraz of course Train A rocket to the moon and uncle Kracker.
Next practice im going to work on my floor skills.

Day6

Ughh not the best week. Im such a mess as of now!! First as my pinky healed up from a sprain i started getting shin splints from vaulting. But not it doesn't end there . My pinky toe is now jammed and all bruised up from pbars and my shoulders are in pain from trying to do dislocates on still rings..Oh yeah cut my toe from playing football hah sheesh this stinks. Phew after just typing all this down with all my focus i feel relaxed now. Anyways its still sooo much fun .

On the good note, i watched college gymnastics this afternoon and wow they're really jacked. So my friend and i was inspired to go to the gym today and workout we did abs and it was pretty intense. Also im sooo siked for next practice its my favorite events floor high bar and cault woot wooot!!

Day5

Ahhhh! Today was such a tiring day! Had a great workout with my buddy. My chest and arms are shot! But surprisingly wasn't too tired to go practice a bit. Im SOOOOO close to getting giants sooo happy! But besides that nothing too special just very tired/hungry now! Ive decided to start weight training again just to build up some mass i feel skinny! Anyways Practice tomorrow but till then i think im going to play some pokemon :P

Day 4

Ahhh What a weekend! Even though most of it was filled with work/test/and lazying around many things happened! My friend Kc and i bought a hamster named it after cyndiquil(yes a pokemon) haha but its soooo cute. The first 10min of her life with us was a disaster. I dropped her in the car while taking her out / kc dropped her in front of petco and we all got scared shed flee but she didn't woot. Anyways kc forgot to close the cage before we left for practice and when we got back she was gone. It was all good though because i found her in like 10minutes under the couch.

Anyways my progress on gymnastics been on a stalemate i believe. Ive been doing more back handspring tucks off tumble tracks but i feel it can be a lot better. on vault i cant get a straight body .. damnn.. anyways on bars i got my nice kip and almost ripped off my nipple piercing :x i was in pain for awhile. My swings are a bit better but i am not satisfied at all :/ Anyways thats what we've practice today. Next practice i think ill toss my Round off back handspring tuck on the floor. Also just go for giants i think ive waited long enough.

Day 3

Ahhh so today i sprained my damn pinky playing basketball but didnt even notice till practice..Made myself a splint (didnt know that splint was the name for the finger cast thing) worked well until it frustrated me. I got down my straddle press handstand now but still need it cleaned up.Honestly didnt get much done just tried out new skills on strength events like rings and pbars nothing to special. Hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day :P

Day 2

Well today was a successful day! Even though i was sore like hell i did good.. I think ive finally got down a handspring off vault with good form yay! And got a nice high set for my back tuck . But besides the gym had a nice penne vodka lunch made by Veronica which was great YUMM and also went out to watch ALice in wonderland . (FINALLY!)Was a great movie hehe. Anyways Heading to bed soon and waking up for school gym work practice. FUN!

Day1

Well heres a start of my new blog. I think this will be pretty fun actually. IM gonna just use this blog to record my progress in gymnastics so i can look back on my improvements ^^ So lets start.
Day 1: Been in the gym for 5 hours didnt get much done as usual since i just fooled around with my friends and what not but i got something down. For High Bar im going for giants. Only problem swing is horrible but i finally fixed it and im starting to get higher and also got my kip done pretty close just need to turn my wrist ... As of floor i fixed my front handspring to come out into a rebound so going for a tuck after.I feel like rings are my strongest point as of now since i have the most skills there with ease but the back uprise .. I just couldn't get. I need more practice on that . Vault i guess my handsprings are decent well at least on tumble track, but tomorrow im gonna try it on vault. Pommel = lost cause. What a dumb event. Hate it. I guess ive covered most of it so yeah lets get started.
